The Aviation Manufacturing Technology Associate in Applied Science degree prepares students for careers in the aviation and aerospace manufacturing industry by providing the technical knowledge and hands-on skills required for aircraft production, assembly, and quality assurance. Through classroom instruction, laboratory experiences, and industry-aligned training, students develop competencies in precision measurement, blueprint interpretation, structural sheet metal fabrication, aircraft assembly processes, workplace safety, quality control, and manufacturing technologies.

The program emphasizes practical, hands-on learning using industry-standard equipment and procedures to prepare graduates for employment in modern aviation manufacturing environments. Students have opportunities to earn industry-recognized certifications that enhance workforce readiness and provide a competitive advantage in the aviation and aerospace sectors.

Graduates are prepared for entry-level positions in aircraft manufacturing, aerostructure assembly, production operations, quality inspection, and related aerospace manufacturing fields. The program supports the growing workforce needs of the Gulf Coast aviation and aerospace industry and provides pathways for continued professional growth and advancement.
