TRK 114 - Vehicle Maintenance

Corequisite(s): TRK 111, TRK 112, TRK 113, TRK 115, TRK 116

This course introduces students to the various components of the vehicle and how they work in order that malfunctions and safety hazards may be recognized before serious damages or accidents occur. Topics include vehicle systems, preventive maintenance and servicing, and diagnosing and reporting malfunctions. Upon completion, students should be able to perform routine service functions and simple maintenance tasks that are driver responsibilities and recognize when a vehicle needs repairs or be placed out of service.
